Our Scholars Have Been All Over

Our Media Scholars have been on the ground covering major New Orleans events, from festivals to championship games, showcasing their talent across diverse media platforms. Building on this success, we aim to expand the program nationwide to give more students access to high-profile opportunities and professional development.

The Media Scholars Program gave students hands-on media experience at major New Orleans events, including the French Quarter Festival, UFC fights, the U.S. Gymnastics Championships, and the HBCU Legacy Bowl. Scholars captured behind-the-scenes content, highlighted athletes and performers, and documented cultural experiences, building diverse portfolios and gaining valuable industry exposure.

Scholars Make a Statement

Our Scholars have gained impactful content and coverage across these organizations and outlets - participating in coverage or the outlets covering the Media Scholars Program after experiencing “some of the best student media scholars we have ever experienced at an event this large with so many celebrities”.

100% Placement

Following the program, 100% of our Media Scholars successfully secured internships with leading organizations in media, sports, and entertainment. This outcome reflects both the strength of their training and the value of the professional networks they built through the program.
