Super Bowl LX Scholars 2026
At Super Bowl LX in the Bay Area, California, seven Media Scholars represented five universities, showcasing student-led insights and perspectives on one of the world’s biggest stages. Participating schools included Dillard University, San Francisco State University, University of San Francisco, UC Berkeley, and San Jose State University.
Our Founding Scholars
The Media Scholars Program brought together 17 talented students from New Orleans institutions including Dillard University, Xavier University of Louisiana, Tulane University, Loyola University, Southern University at New Orleans, and the University of New Orleans. Representing diverse academic backgrounds in journalism, communications, and the arts, these scholars gained exclusive access to major events such as Super Bowl LIX, the HBCU Legacy Bowl, and the U.S. Gymnastics Championships. Through hands-on media production, mentorship, and professional networking, the program not only enhanced their technical skills but also elevated their confidence, expanded their portfolios, and opened doors to internships and career opportunities across the media and sports industries.
